Iran's Election Protest
What is the truth in Iran? How can people take back their government? Reason wants us to believe that good can defeat evil, and truth will beat lies. But how? When the power of force lies in the hands of the liars, how does truth win out? It seems to always come down to who has the strongest and biggest stick. The story of David defeating Goliath has warmed the hearts of people for centuries, and inspired many to persevere in times of great opposition. May the Davids of Iran defeat the Goliaths.

"Senator" Boxer lets her true colors be seen when she requested, during a report from a four star general, that she be addressed as "Senator" instead of "Ma'am". She truely believes that she is special.....that something about her gives her the right to put down a General, a man who has dedicated his life to the defense of our nation.
Congressmen were originally meant to serve their constituents for a limited time and then go back to they trades, and let someone else serve. The key work here is "serve". Our Congressmen are our servants. They are not to serve their own personal needs, but the needs of the communities or states they represent. They were not to make a "career" or benefit personally from this service. Something shifted in the attitude of our congressmen to make them believe that they are special, chosen and deserve our unquestionable loyalty. At that point America has "Royalty"...aristocrats that make decisions for us because they are "special". That is not what our founding fathers wanted....In fact, they fought England for independence from this form of government. The only way to stop this is to stop putting these people back in office.

How did the US Elect Obama, A Socialist...
How did the US elect a president who disdains our military, our people, our faith, our Constitution, our free markets, our proud history?
Unfortunately, there lies in all humans a natural resentment of the success of another. Someone is always richer, better looking, happier, and/or smarter. Add media and politicians to re-enforce this, and what do you get? Obama, and his "change and hope".
The problem is there is no utopia where all are "equal". Due to our own DNA, science has proven that not one of us is the same. It is not humanly possible to legislate us into being completely equal. In fact, the greatest evil of all is believing in this concept. The only hope for mankind, as our United States founding fathers knew, is in strength of the individual, not the collective.
So why does history keep repeating itself? Any human dependent on any means other than what he has earned will never be happy. All historical facts show this to be true. It is not about how much money a man earns, but what abilities he has, and what he does with those abilities. But when Obama, or any other political leader makes promises that make people believe he can make "changes" that will make their lives better, they want to "believe". And so, men like Obama, get voted into office.
And what change does Obama want? He wants us all to operate off of his brain. We need to do what he believes is best for us. We must surrender our individual rights and abilities to the "common good". Look at those who have already done this....our welfare culture. Why do you think that people on welfare and in government run housing are the ones that cultivate crime. It is not because they are poor. It is because they have sold their rights to be self-reliant. When this happens, evil grows.
I know there are many proud, independent Americans who are appalled at the changes being made by Obama and his cohorts. Now is the time to speak up. May God give us the wisdom and courage to act.

The Story of the Man Who Created the No. 1 Hand

If you follow the above link, you will see how a man with an idea was able to succeed in the USA in 1978.
Will these same opportunities be available for our children and grandchildren? Are the socialist policies now being promoted not only by Liberals, but also supposed Conservatives going to kill opportunity in America?
Our forefathers believed in the potential of every man to succeed when given the freedom to pursue his dreams. We can no longer be a passive people if we want our country to stand for the possibility that any person with and idea and hard work can be successful.

Choices
The killing of Dr. George Tiller, the late term abortion doctor, brings up many emotions and much controversy . When we journey into the realm of emotion and opinion, real issues become buried.
How can one not be "pro-life"? Does believing in abortion mean you are "for murder"? If you are "pro-life" how can you murder another human being, i.e. Dr. Tiller, because you believe he commits murder when he supports procedures that end pregnancies?
How can women, designed by our creator to be caring and nurturing support abortion? Even if we changed our laws, abortion would still exist, just not as humanely or safely. This has been shown to be true throughout the history of the world. And the utmost question in my mind is....Why do we focus on the "woman"?
I think if men had babies, this would not be a controversial topic. It would be as accepted as we accept that men can have as many sexual conquests as possible without any struggle of conscience. But because women can't walk away from an unwanted pregnancy....the focus falls on women and their choice. Men have already made a choice one way or the other at the time of conception. They are either having a "moment" of physical pleasure with whoever is available, or they actually care for their partner.
But at the time of conception, do men really think about creating a life. That "this action" can create a life. Is that not the time of "choice"? Does society teach that the responsibility lies with the man as much as the woman. In many of the instances that I have seen, the men sometimes make half-hearted efforts to pretend responsibility and care for the unwanted child. Mostly, they send money. Many just walk away. Many men become the "amusement park" for the child. When the absent father's weekend is over, he never worries about the child. I must state that not all fathers abandon their responsibility, but even the most caring father who does not live in the home cannot do justice to raising a child.
A child born to a single mom with a half-hearted father is doomed to a life devoid of a loving caring father who lives in the home and teaches what it means to be a nurturing, caring man... The mother must try to be both parents, keeping food, shelter and the lessons of life constant in the life of the child. She becomes the only one truly responsible for the child. Is it any wonder that a woman faced with this reality alone might seek alternatives?
The answer does not lie in attacking the abortion clinics. The answer lies in the hearts of men. The beautiful connection of sex between a man and a woman should never be trivialized. After all, of all our creators miracles...this act can create an individual with his/her own DNA, mind, potential for reigning over all other animals on this planet. Until our society teaches that the only time sexual pleasure is acceptable is with the commitment of the two people to the miracle that might result from their connection, we will not be healed.
