About Me

My Photo
Descendant of patriots who have fought from the Civil war to WWII, planters who carved out my heritage in the plains of central Texas since 1850. From teacher to business owner, I have a strong personal heritage and concern for the United States, its past and future.

Race, American

As a person who has has a strong history as an American citizen and a Christian, I find myself spending time thoughfully wondering what is happening to my country. My family roots factually have benefited from being Americans.  I can trace my roots to the Jamestown settlement. We were all immigrants in this nation except for Native Americans.  My thoughts lead me to lean on learning from history.  Many believe that history is unimportant.  That we must change with the times. The irony in that theory in my opinon is that humans are destined to repeat history as the times change, but human nature does not.  Those that believe they can change the course of human nature because they have figured it out are sadly and historially mistaken.
